How it works

  1. Add your entries

    Type names or options one at a time, or paste a whole list with the bulk editor.

  2. Choose your mode

    Pick Classic for repeat spins, or Elimination for a knockout round to one Survivor.

  3. Spin the wheel

    Click the wheel, press the SPIN button, or press the space bar.

  4. Get your result

    Watch the wheel land, celebrate the winner, and check your spin history.

Is FateFlap really random and fair?

Yes. Every spin picks a winner with a weighted random draw before the wheel even starts moving, then the animation lands on that exact result. The same fairness logic is covered by our automated tests.

Do my names and entries leave my browser?

No. Everything you type stays on your device in your browser's local storage. FateFlap never uploads, transmits, or stores your entries on any server.

How do weights work?

Turn on Weighted mode and give any entry a higher weight to make it more likely to be picked. A weight of 3 is three times as likely as a weight of 1.

What are wildcards?

Wildcards add three special slices — Spin Again, Skip a Turn, and Lose a Point — for extra party-game twists. Turn them on or off any time.

How does Elimination mode work?

Each spin removes the entry it lands on. Once only one entry remains, that entry is the Survivor. Use "New round" to bring everyone back.

Does FateFlap work offline?

Yes. After your first visit, FateFlap keeps working even without an internet connection — adding entries, spinning, and seeing results all work offline.

Is FateFlap free?

Yes, completely free, with no account, no sign-up, and no ads in this version.

Can I save my wheel for next time?

Yes. Your entries and settings are saved automatically in your browser, so they're there the next time you visit — until you clear them yourself.

Is FateFlap a gambling site?

No. FateFlap never accepts real wagers or pays out money — it's a fairness and party tool for everyday decisions. See our Disclaimer for details.

Can I use FateFlap on my phone?

Yes. FateFlap works on any modern phone, tablet, or computer browser, and adapts its layout to your screen.
